Default Need wireing help.

I want to run 12 gauge to my door speakers (6" DDD's) but I'm stumped as to how to do that without cutting the rubber "gromets" in the door and door jamb. Any suggestions???

Drill another hole underneath the current holes, stick a grommet in there and run the wire through loom.

I am trying to avoid any drilling or cutting, but that sounds like my best bet. Thanks.

Use an antenna or a coat hanger and feed it through the existing rubber. If you take the kick panel off you can see where all the wires exit, this is where you want to feed the antenna through. I think that it is easier to run the antenna from inside of the car towards the door. Once the antenna or coat hanger is in the door just tape the 12-gauge wire to it and pull it through. No drilling needed no cutting needed.

Have you actually done that with 12 gauge? Doesn't seem to be much room in the stock rubber "loom".

Yes I have done this before. I pulled the rubber loom off from the door and used a antenna and pushed it through. Then I taped the 12 gague wire to the antenna and pulled it through, and put the rubber loom back on the door jam.

It's not as easy as it sounds... you'll prolly slice up yer fingers...

Why are you running 12 gauge to fronts ? Pushing like 200wpc up there ? 14 or 16 should be OK for up to 100wpc...

PS, the rubber in the door exits up in the dash area on tegs....not by the kicks...

When doing the Pass side....take out the glove compartment at the hinges...you'lll get more light in there that way...
