Need help on how to play MP3's HELP!!!
Well I got this cd player in my car when i bought it about a year ago and decided to try the mp3 feature it offers....well how the heck do you make it play them.. I put the cd in and the screen reads MP3 (then the track number) but will only play up to track 17. I played with the remote and pressed some buttons and something like folder 2 came up and i have no idea what that means. The model of the cd player is kdc-mp819 and its made by kenwood...ive enclosed a pic so you can see the cd player if you dont know model numbers

First of all, does the CD that you've created work fine on another MP3 deck? If you don't know anyone else with a functioning MP3 player in his or her vehicle, take that CD to a stereo store and try it on their demo board. If everything checks out fine with that CD, then its software issues with the specific Kenwood. Software cannot be updated. Sometimes, on older MP3 decks, they are not compatible with newer burner programs.
