There are two ways that you can go with you set up. You can use a 4 channel amp to run your hole system, with subs. Or you can use a 4 channel with a two channel. Here are two examples.
Here is one example with a 4 channel amp.
Channel one and two can push your front speakers, Channel three and four can be bridge to run two or one subwoofers. Depending on the amp you choose. This set up would not use rear speakers.
Example number two. You could use a 4 channel to run this way, And have rear speakers.
Run channels one and two to power your front speakers, Channels three and four to run your rear speakers. Now this is were it get tricky. If you get a amp that can run in mixed mono mode you can get away with this. While channel three and four are playing stereo you can bridge the channel at the same time. But you are going to have a passaive crossover made to seperate the signal to the sub.
The last way is to use a two amp setup. One four channel amp for your highs and a two channel or a mono amp for your subs. Or you can get a good high power headunit and use it to push some decient front and rear speakers. (rears if you choose) and a small amp to pump some subs.
Get yourself a budget and go from there.

What headunit do you have?
You could also run the fronts off your headunit and just get a 2ch amp for your subs.
Thats if your on a tight budget.
I wouldnt run the subs and fronts off 1 4ch amp, just me though.
