Need help, battery problem or connection?
Ok, yesterday as I was driving, I pumped up the amp, which I guess would draw alot of current from the battery. About 20 minutes into driving I noticed my ABS light would come on and off every couple of seconds, but especially noticeable during turns, which led me to assume it was the ABS fluid that was low. Later on I noticed my radio would shut off and restart everytime the ABS comes on, which means it's most likely an electrical problem. I pulled into a parking lot (so glad I did), turnt off my car and tried to start it again. Right after I shut it off the alarm went nuts, door lock keep locking and unlocking and siren keeps making chirping noises. I thought there was a short somewhere so I unplugged the alarm, was still acting up and car won't start. I had to disconnect the battery, clean out all the green built-ups around the metal, and finally the car would stop acting weird. Did this happen to anybody?
sounds like a connection problem with the corrosion in the way. That's a bit extreme with you having so many problems, but at least you got it corrected.
