need help!!!
Im trying to install an amp in my 00 integra. When i looked at the back of the stereo there wasnt the usual ports to hook the amp up to. If anyone has installed something like this on an integra, plz help
if you are talking about the stock headunit, you are correct......
it does not have RCA's to output the signal to an amplifier(s)
you have 2 choices
1. buy a convertor that will allow you to convert the speaker wires to a connector that will hook up to audio amps
2. buy a new headunit with RCA's in the back
The new headunit will be better in the long run and initially with sound quality so instead of buying an amp maybe you should consider buying the headunit 1st.
hope I helped

im assuming what your saying is that there are no RCA outputs on the back of the deck right? anyway you will need an inline converter which taps into the speaker wires and takes the audio signal and converts it to RCA outputs that you can plug into your amp... its not going to be exactly a "clean" signal.. but it will work... you might as well run the wiring and inline converter to the center console behind the deck.. so that your RCA cables are back there... then when you decide to get a new stereo w/ RCA outputs.. you dont have to re-run your RCA cables and take apart your interior again since everything is already run (RCA cables, amp power cables, speaker cables, etc..) or you could always just get a new deck now = )
