I'd have to agree also. Other than that, I wouldn't trade. There good for Trance though (Ex: Xplods)

A) There's something called a caps lock key - make sure you know when and how to use it - apparently you don't. Please don't yell at us with your stupid caps lock
B) Learn where to post certain threads - selling your exhaust in the audio section isn't really appreciated
damn newbies...sheesh
oh and as for the speakers - maybe some funky pups or chronic subs would be best for you -> http://www.chronicaudio.com/Speakers.html

I guess Lloyd would be glad to hear that. The prob I have with this
statement is every time a company releases a superwoofer everyone
jocks its nads. Its sad really. I remember guys buying **** loads
of RFL subs...a sub designed for SPL ONLY ( it was designed
to play from 30-60 hz only) only to complain because they werent musical.
DUH. MTX has designed many great subs..just like everyone else.
There are many great subs in its lineup...find a sub and give the tech dept
a call...you may be pleasantly surprised.

Sorry if you thought I was picking on you or singling you out...
Yes the 9500 are a great sub...if you have the amp power to drive it.
I see this all the time...peeps find out about a new cool 'superwoofer'
and they just 'gotta' have it. So they starve themselves on top ramen
until they can afford it. They get the sub and are all happy..till they
find out it requires a kilowatt to drive it and all that goes along with it
( cables, upgrade alt,1/0 cable, etc)....it all starts to add up. You know
the rest "...what can I use to drive it until I can buy this amp". It
never gets used to its full pontential and the person is really
diasspointed.
Its such a waste....

anyway ive heard some 15 inch 6000s that pounded real hard, and truthfully alot of mediocre mtx subs pound real hard

and personally I think RF's sound like wet farts. My guess is most of the installs I've heard the kids did a poor box job or used a prefab'ed box with either the wrong air space or the box was leaking. I'm sure if you installed the RF's I've heard into the proper box it would sound good. Then again an ex-coworker of mine had 4 MTX 8000 subs in divided box with a total combined air space of 4 ft^3 (1 ft^3 per sub) running off of some decently powerful MTX 6500D amps, and that setup was pretty damn loud in his car. Granted he could have gotten more out of it with a ported box (which he later did do to run 2 Treo SS 12"s off of a concept 2400 watt amp)
