Default MP3 input help?

ok i have a kenwood excelon kdc-x815 cd player...its the one with the black mask and 4.5volt pre-outs.

i wanna figure out how to use a MP3 player such as an ipod with the cd player...i have seen people with the front inputs they can plug into and i noticed on mine there is supposedly one but im not sure where or how to use it because i saw that it needed an adpater of some sort...please any help will be great

i suppose if you have a front auxiliary input, then all you need is a male to male minijack cable. or you can go through with the fm transmitter route such as the i-trip for the ipod or other brands that are more universal.

Yeah, if your head unit had RCA inputs then you can try those otherwise try an FM modulator
