Default Mounting CD player Question....

I have a 96 hatch and I was thinking about putting my cd player in the pocket near the cupholder. Do I need a special kit or will it just bolt in? Thanks!

aftermarket cd players go where the stock cd players go with a dash kit, the hole near the cupholder is for a factory cd player or factory tape deck

No you don't need a kit to put it on the bottom DIN. I have it on my 98 hatch. I'll post up pics in a second.

yes you can. I had my cd=player mounted in the bottom. its better for security too harder for thieves to get. Since i didn't like the way it mounte in the top din. No kit needed just bolts right in.
