Default motorized screen in a DA ?

I posted this in the integra forums but figured it might be better here. Basically I was wondering if anyone has mounted a motorized lcd screen in a 90-93 integra in the upper din (where you would mount a normal deck) and had the screen clear the dash when opening. Info and pics would be great, thanks.

Sorry no pix, but there are a few VHUs out there that have "track housings" that will also come out , [up to 1 inch] to make the angle about 90 degrees but still not enough IMO, but one of those VHUs and in the lower part of the opening and you get a pretty good angle, [up] and of coarse there are the double din VHUs. 94

Check out the new ALPINE W-200. Its a double-din 6.5" touch screen monitor/dvd/cd/mp3 reciever. It will fit perfectly in the opening and the screen is adjustable so that you can get a great view. I have one in my DC and I cant imagine owning another head unit. IM me if you want more info.

thanks, i'll talk to my installer about possible installing it in the upper din and making a custome bracket to bring out the unit 1", iff that fails I guess I'll have to mount the unit in the lower din as mentioned, which would be fine

That sounds like it should be fine. You dont have to move it out at all. Iy will sit flush with your dash. What Head unit are you going to have installed?
