Default MB Quart vs. Diamond

I am trying to figure out whether to go with the DSF-216 by MB Quart or the Diamond D361. I plan to use the D3 400.4 Amplifier by Diamond, is that any good?

I dont know much about diamond, but I sell MB Quart. Personally, I dont really care for the discus series speakers such as the ones that you are looking at. I would recomend looking at spending a little more on the reference series.
DSF-216s retail for about $249
RCE-216s retail for about $319
In this case $70 makes a world of a difference.

although i AM a fan of mb quart, which does make nice speaker sets once you get into the higher end of things.. buttt, i am a bigger believer in trying to stay same brand throughout.. i.e. if you have a diamond amp, match em up with diamond speakers, i dont know how you could really go wrong

assuming you know the continuous handling of the speaker closely matches the rms output of the amplifier.. and remember, its usually easier to ruin a speaker from underpowering than overpowering, so a little more amplifier power wont hurt, just watch your gains.
