maxima w bose system
ok I just put a sony explod in a 90 maxima and with all the connections soldered. But when turn it on there is a significant hiss coming from all speakers. I was wondering if these bose systems have amplifiers for each speaker. I really need to get rid of this hiss it's driving me nuts
thanks in advance

The sony output's at 5-8 ohms. I just don't want to really **** up my roomates bose system</TD></TR></TABLE> if its the "amped "speaker,[ all one part speaker cabenet amp] they are .6 OHM, [thats with a . ] if the amp is offboard they are 4 OHM, you can also remove a speaker and look the 4 OHMs will say so on magnet, the .6 OHMs will not anything about imp.
also with the offboard amp you can bypass it easy, [without rewireing all the speakers, just do it at the Bose amp, [ output harness]
