Just look for a local electronics repair shop. It could be something cheap like a transistor or something just went bad on you and needs to be replaced. I brought a blown amp to a local shop near me and they gave me a free estimate--$60 later my amp is running like new. It was a PPI art series amp.

I have a place but you are not local to me. But they do charge to look at it and then apply that to fix it if you want. It also depends on how bad the amp is.

It still plays.....But sounds like ***....3 resistors came loose from the board for unknown reasons....Was an obvious defect from the build. However in effort to save time I had a friend who soldered them back in. But I think more damage was done from trying to play it before I found the resistor issue.

In your case it might be better to go out and buy a new unit with a warrentty then to fix that one. Might be cheaper in the end
Wanna sell it?

Thats why I refuse to buy anything from DEI. They determine how long your product should last by wether or not they choose to support it. Its worse now then before because they scratch out the part numbers now.
DEI builds throw away electronics.

Only if the offer is good.
It is a hell of an amp when working properly.

Probably not .
Your looking at a $100-$150 repair at least. Sounds like you have a few burnt transistors. You can find amp repair on ebay. Hopefully they still make the parts you need for the repair.
