Default Looking to get subs replaced.

Had fun with these Clarion subs and some amp I bought off CL for $80 in all. Now I'm looking to pump something louder than this.. probably will look into the kicker or JL series.

Anyway, if I replace the subs, does that mean I would have to buy a different gauge? I mean the gauge kit and fuse are already installed, I just want to replace the subs and amp and I dont know if I would need to buy a different wiring gauge kit.
