looking for a 6 channel amp
hi guys i was looking for a 6 channel amp to power my 4 6 1/2s in my sol and my 2 12" premier dvc's. i was looking at the kicker kx700.5, and it seems like it'll work. by the way, my subs are 4ohm each coil. so im looking at a 4ohm load mono. any suggestions. visonik has a nice 6 channel with the V6611. but ive never heard of them. what do u guys think i should get? by the way, the 6 1/2s are a combination of alpine and boston acoustics.

Do you have your heart set on a 6 channel?
Why not a good quality 4 channel for the components and 2 channel for the sub? It may take up more room and cost a bit more but would most likely be better in the long run

If your setup changes, having 2 amps would be more flexible and probably more tunable.
If you're planning on keeping that setup, a 6 channel would go ok but I'd probably stick with a brand you've heard of.

Maybe you should look into a 5 channel. This will give you the channels for your front speaker and you will have a mono for you sub. Try looking at the new Alpine MRV-F450 5 channel this amp rocks. These amps are crystal clear and have good power.
ever heard of zapco, its a great amp,i have the 6 channel, actually the very first one they made, didnt even have a box yet.its a very nice amp with settings on every channel.it sounds awesome,i have a jl seperates 6 1/2,4 and tweet in the doors and seperates in the rear deack, 6 1/2 and tweet and 1 10 inch sub,it sounds like a theater.im using a alpine cva 1005 deck and 510 processor.
