the way lo-jack works is that some police officers carry these tracking systems, as their driving around it starts to go off once a car has been activated as stolen. Saw how they tracked something with it on cops.

With lojack, there is no monthly fee?

I was watching COPS a month or so ago and saw the cop get a reading next to a garage. Turns out that there was a large generator which had been stolen from a job site which had a lojack system on it. It was cool. (they got the generator back, of course)

I know it's been asked, but it hasn't been answered:

Is there a monthly fee with the lo-jack system, or is the setup cost the only charge?

How much does it cost to buy, install, activate, etc lo-jack?

Is it true that lo jack doesnt work everywhere? I heard from someone that it doesnt work at parking garages.

That is true to an extent.

Lojack works where it recieves a signal to the satellites. I know one sure way of stopping the signal is deep underground garages and steel containers used for shipping **** on boats.

Look at their web site, they should have maps showing where it works and where it doesnt.
