Lcd Install??
Here is My System It comes with a stand bracket I don't think this will work for an in dash unit am I right?
mobile authority makes a headrest shroud for your monitor.....as far as brackets go, you'll have to custom make your own to fit your dash. you can use the factory radio brackets as a starting point. the rest depends on how handy you are with ABS plastic, MDF and other common Car Audio customizing materials.
Select Products specializes in materials for custom installations. They carry pretty much anything you would need. The plastic would be used as your main faceplate - large enough to fill the opening in your dash. You could also use 1/8" or 1/4" thick MDF as the faceplate and paint it to match. Select sells textured paint that simulates the look of plastic. You could then use a colored paint to finish it.
In addition to the faceplate, you would have to make sides that attach to the factory radio brackets. These sides would also be attached to the faceplate. What you should end up with is basically a box but without a top, bottom and back - just the front and sides. Kind of a like a "U" but with right-angle corners. You will also have to cut a hole in the faceplate to accomodate the monitor and/or its shroud.
Hope this helps!

Oh ok thanks for that link.. I know i'm becoming a pain in the *** but you seem to be on point with all the how to's.. I'm wondering now what I should use to bond all this together?
What kind of woodworking tools do you have (i.e table saw, miter saw, clamps, air compressor and brad-nailer gun)? The best way for me to explain the process is to draw up a diagram. I'll try to post or email one as soon as I can.
Well basically all the stuff you have mentioned I either have or can get through my uncle, if you can do a diagram that would be great you can definitely email it to me ... sidoe@netzero.net Thx alot man...
