Default Kill switch using high beam lever

How do I wire it if I want to use the high beam lever as an ignition kill switch? So that the high beams have to be on in order to start the car?

Splice a relay coil into the wire for the highbeam, use the switch part of the relay to control whatever you're killing. Simple enough.

#86 to ground anywhere.
#85 to high beam switch. Don't cut the wire, just pick the 12V from there after the switch.
#30 and #87 to whatever you want to cut (ignition), cut the wire you want to control and connect cut ends to the two terminals.
#87a is not used.

#85-#86 is the coil. So when your high beam switch is turned on, you give power to the coil from #85, and it grounds through #86. When the coil is powered, terminals #30 and #87 are closed, and your circuit is enabled.

But why do you want to control the ignition from high beams? What shall you do at day time? You should always have your high beams on in order to drive your car!

To fix this slightly, 30 and 87 to the starter line at the ignition (saying and wire you want to cut is just a bad idea). Let's say you cut ignition so nothing kicks on unless you have the high beams on... well that also means your car would shut off while driving if you turned the high beams off...

even just a switch to keep any lights coming on could be a useful kill switch. A car driving at night with no lights kind of stands out.
