Default Kill switch/ toggle for amplifier?

I bough a little 3 dollar toggle, and i am wondering whether i should wire it to the power wire for the amp, between it and the battery, not for the battery saving purposes, but more for if i am pulled over for a noise ordinance or somethin, i can shut it off and claim it wasnt me. has anyone ever done this and is it a good idea? cause some people say they do that and just tell the cop or whoever that their amp is just blown. i need help.

you wouldn't put it in between the battery and the amp you would put it on the remote power wire from the head unit. If you have the toggle put it in it might tike 5 min if you have any clue what your doing

so just pick one of the rca wires to run it between? like ______/ \________
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////----------------------------------------

i hope that works and doesnt get resised but the switch would be like on the top wire from both cables that are stuck together.

slashes up there only are to get the 2 lines lined up cause it doesnt take spaces
