Default kicker solo baric l7?

say if i purchase the sub for my 01 accord...what should i power it with..i already have a jbl 600.1 on hand already but i might need more power..or less?..or should i try eclipse or orion?...my ideal system must hit yet still be clean..thanks for the advice

thats enough power for one. it is i think the perfect amp for that sub.

i forgot to mention i was planning to buy a 15" kicker solo baric l7...should that still be enuff power or should i upgrade to a rockford fosgate or sumthing?...thanks

if u want clean sound ditch kicker IMO, kicker is just plain out loud

IMO 15s are just plan made to be loud period. Most of the time in any car the sound of a 15 is gonna sound pretty "muddy" but if thats what your looking for (loudness) then the amp you have should do just fine.

i dont think the jbl 600.1 is enough power for the 15". the 15" handles 1000 watts rms and 750 watts rms for the 12". if u decide to get the 12" the jbl 600.1 should be fine. im an authorized dealer for kicker, so if u decide to get the L7 or any sub let me know and i can get u a good price.

I personally think the 600.1 is fine for the 15l7. There have been enough posts of l7's dying at rated power on other boards. Might be good to stay on the safe side.
