What do you guys think is a better sub the 12 kicker cvx or the 12 jl audio w6v2

 

They are both very good DVC 400W subs, Kicker has an advantage as it is available in both DVC 2ohm and 4ohm the JL Audio 12W6v2-D4 is a DVC 4 ohm.
IMO the JL Audio is the better of the two, although not by a lot, IMO it is a better sounding sub, more accurate. 94

 

id go with the kicker if you want ALOT of bass but JL audio sound a little better..

I likey JL mucho!! . I'm fixin to get a new system setup in my Si. All JL

Chrome JL 500/1 on a 13W6V2, with a chrome JL 300/4 on the door speakers when I get some upgraded ones.

You can never go wrong with JL subs.

 

i love kicker products.but the cv subs suck.very loose and sloppy.id get the jl's all day long.

 

yea kicker subs are good... but i'd go with the jl's of the choice you've given me. but i rock kicker 12inch L7's in my whip. if i needed more all i'd need would be a solo-x. jl has no input next to the solo x's

too expensive and huge box sizes - you can't go wrong with Image Dynamics though - I'd take an IDMAX over those two options any day of the week...

 

i would say kicker just because these take a BEATING. i loved my 13W7 when i had it and i even had 15W6's but for my next setup i am getting kicker. not as good SQ but still sounds great, priced well and take power like a champ!

 

right now i have 2 jl 12W6v2 with a 500/1 sound awsome a buddy of mine just got 2 cvx kickers i just wanted to see wich one you guys think is better
