Default kicker cvr question.

i just gotta new cvr for my work truck, yeah i know its not a honda, but i have a prelude too. anyway, theres 4 posts on the back of the sub, 2 positive and 2 negative. ive only hooked up one side of the sub on previous installs on other car, but... is it better or worse to hook up to all four connectors?

heres a link the the sub i have that shows 3 of the 4 posts.

It's a dual voice coil sub and all 4 need to be connected.

If you haven't damaged the sub by only using 2, connect all 4 as you're supposed to.

What make/model amp are you using to power the sub?

I didn't ask for power rating. I asked for make/model.

Since you can't answer a basic question that is asked of you, it's not a big surprise that you can't wire a sub correctly.

And WTF does "it straight pushes y0! " mean?

how many subs are u running it with... and wat size is the sub? ... if its a single 15 or 12... u have to parallel it... get two wires about half a foot or a wire long enough to connect to negative1 and negative2 and positive1 and positive2 then u use the speaker wires to run to amp connect it to any positive and any negative...cuz u paralleled it ...

to series is... put negative coil1 to positive coil 2 then use the other two thats not connect

Running one voice coil reduces the power handling in half. Nothing wrong with running one coil if done properly.

If you want the full power handling of your speaker run both.
