Kick Panel enclosures?
-Does anyone have this type of enclose for your speakers in an Integra?
-If you do how do you like it?
-Where exactly does it go?
-Does it get in the way? Would I have to worry about kicking it or someone else?
-Does anyone have a pic they could show me?
Thanks!

I have some custom made ones in my Civic Si. They have the best imaging for your front sound stage. You do have to be careful not to kick them though. Having mine molded, wrapped in vinyl, poished trim ring, and finish grill were about $500.
A Company called Q forms makes them for your car they should run you about 250 to 300 dollars. However I do recommend you get them reinforced with some fibreglass resin on the back of them.
I have kick panels in all cars I drive, including an Integra (before it was stolen). They're a must for any real car audiophile. Excellent imaging and staging (if angled properly) plus it increases bass response from mid bass drivers.
It goes in the forward bottom corners, where the kick panels are (duh). In some cars, including the Teg, it may block the hood release or the clutch pedal. Plastic kick panels like Q-forms are held on with screws through the plastic, custom fiberglass ones are screwed through the back panel into the sheet metal.
If you're accustomed to resting your foot on the dead pedal they get in the way. Given that I've never seen a shoe print on stock kick panels I have no problem with them or passengers kicking them. Nonetheless good kick panels should not budge a bit when installed. If it moves, it vibrates.
