Default Keyless entry prevents start

Have a 97 prelude. I'll try to be as specific as possible.

The keyless entry module (aftermarket) has been acting up. the car wouldn't start, everything works fine, lights, radio, whatever, but when you attempt to start there is nothing. so i assumed it is the control box that's under the dash. I disconnected all of the harnesses and it wouldn't start. then i plugged in only the 4 wire power/starter wire harness. it starts fine, but when you shut it off it clicks constantly, and eventually drains the battery. i am sick of that module, so i attempted to jump the starter wire, but I am pretty sure i need a relay or something to cut the starter off with. It will start, but the starter won't shut off... is there a way to simply jumper the 4 wires in a certain sequence to just bypass the keyless/alarm? if not, what should i do?? thanks a lot...

easiest thing to do is pull the dash and remove the starter kill relay.

pull the relay? is that with the module still hooked up? or will this just start it without the module in? and is there any info on the starter kill relay? like where it is exactly? thanks a lot

most code alarms have an orange wire coming off the alarm that runs to a relay the interrupts the starter wire. take the relay out of the picture and reconnect the starter wire.

this is the one i have... so looking at the wiring diagram, and the install instructions, i think i can just connect the Green to Purple wires, on the 4 wire connection... is that look right to you? i think the relay is internal for this model.

If it is the CA425 then unplug the 4 pin connector, red/green/purple/pink, connect the green and purple leads together with the jumper, ignore the red and pink lead. 94

fcm is correct, or just disconnect the green and purple wire from the ignition harness and reconnect that wire.
