Keyless Entry/Alarm not working on car... know why?

Keyless Entry/Alarm not working on car... know why?
My keyless entry system for my '95 Civic EX Coupe isn't working. I bought it from a dealership and it doesn't work... even tried putting new batteries in. The dealership said just to go have it checked out. There's a flip by the fuse box where you can turn it on or off... flipped it up and down and it still doesn't work... there's also a red light by my deck, but that doesn't turn on either... where should I go to have it checked out?

Is it the factory alarm?..If it isn't maybe their is a blown fuse going to the brain.. Do you know where the brain is?..
