Key hole delete?
I know people say this is a bad idea incase my battery dies, but is there any writeups or a kit to remove my manual key holes? My mom was saying use super glue
but I want to actually cover the hole and paint over it so that it looks like there never was a manual key hole on my doors?
More and more integras/ civics are getting stolen in my area (san francisco bay area, east side) and this seems like a good idea since it should only leave the solution of breaking the window to get in the car.

If they can't open the door they will break a window if they need to get in the car. But it depends on how bad they want to try to get the car. Most won't because late at night car theives don't really want to drive with a window open. It draws unwanted attention to them. 20 degrees and there driving with the window open. Cops that are on car detail looks for this. The best solution is to unplug the lock lever from the door hatch. Its no hard to do. Just pull the door pannel of and undo the white tabs that hold the lever to the key lock and the door lock.

i think the same is said for 88-91 civic hatch backs and crx's. The rear door handles from a 88-91 civic 4 door will work and have no key holes.

That's actually a fantastic idea. Completely forgot you could do that.

It actually doesn't work that well. The angle between the latch and the handle is much different on the rear of a 4 door than on the hatchback. The handle is constructed slightly different. So it's very difficult to get the bar to work. I ended up using front bars from the 4 door and then bending them slightly in a vice. But it was a real pain in the *** and I got locked out of my car several times before I got it right. On the other hand, if you can tack weld to the metal piece on the handle without melting the plastic, then you could mod it up to work better. But I don't have the tools/skills and I don't even think it's possible.
If I was to do it again, I'd bondo it. Even though I have never worked with bondo before, figuring out how to do it would be easier than getting the rear 4 door handles to work.

is there any way to use the housing from the 92-95 civic 4 door rear handle and the actual handle from the 2 door civic? Kinda like a hybrid door handle lol. I dunno, my hatch has shaved door handles, so I'm in the dealing with solenoids pain in the *** field. But I got it workin decent so far lol.
