Isobaric Enclosure Question
I have a '96 Accord that I'm building a custom sub enclosure and amp rack for. In trying to find diagrams and general information about isobaric enclosures, I read that with an isobaric enclosure, you get half the enclosure space, but that it only reproduces the same as one sub in double the enclosure.
I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about this. Whether my source is B.S. or what. Also... if this is a true characteristic of isobaric enclosures, then how much more would it help to have double the enclosure size, with my subs isobarically enclosed?
Any and all suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What you read is correct. With isobaric you can use half the space. But you need two subs with twice the power to make the same output.
My short answer is don't do it. Just get a sub made for small enclosures.
