Default Ipod integration in my 2000 hatch...

I know there have been many threads on ipod integration, but I didn't find specifically what I was looking for. I just picked up an ipod mini for $80 with a bad battery. $100 overall for the ipod mini with a new battery (good deal). Anyways, I was looking at my head unit, and it does not have an input spot on the face anywhere. My question is this...is their any plugs in the back of my head unit that I could hook my ipod up to? Or should I just hook my ipod up to my amp? Any other possibilities?

Websites with integration products for a reasonable price would be great! I'm basically looking to hook my ipod up either through my head unit or amp (guessing those 2 are best for sound quality) at a reasonable price.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, not much of an audio guy...but I love music, haha.

Does your JVC HU not have an AUX input, I thought we were talking about a oem HU. try here also http://www.jvc.com look up your HU and it will tell you if you have AUX inputs or if the HU is a changer controller, and if there is an adpt. to change it into an AUX port, otherwise you will need a FM mod adpt., [poor SQ]. 94

seems like alot of trouble..why dont u just buy the "griffin technology itrip".. i bought mine at the apple store and it cost me a little over $30..it works pretty well and u dont have to worry about wires and stuff..its clean..but since its wireless and an FM transmitter, the chance of static may occur, but very little..it usually picks up pretty good frequency!
