Default Invasion of privacy?

Ok so someone i know told me today that i can be sued for invasion of privacy for my stereo being too loud.... Is this true or just a way to get me to turn my stereo down because he doesn't like it?

In this day & age, I wouldn't doubt it.

People are sue happy these days, and those people are winning in courts more & more.

Well you can "try" and sue someone for anything. But I really don't see a case like this holding up in court. Can't seem to find any incidents of it ever happening.

LOL, I used to tell my little brother stupid **** all the time just to get a laugh when he asks people about it.

It's "disturbing the peace", and you don't get sued, you get a ticket.

unless your overly loud sound waves are going into peoples homes, spying on them, and then reporting back to your their findings, i dont think you can get sued.
