Default Interior Sub Set-up

Aight this might be a dumb question but i just got into sound. Would it be better sound for the subs to face the rear or the front? or would it not matter? Which way would it thump more? thanks

you mean in the trunk? just point it so it has some air space, don't point it directly at the seat.

Just the rear of the box laid against of the back seat in the trunk, where the subwoofer(s) are facing the rear end of the car.

i have a sub setup in my dx hatch and the sub is in the hatch but facing the rear of the car.It works fine enough to rattle the mirrors up front. I was told that if you put a sub in the hatch or trunk of your car...facing the back of the car wil give you more bang for your buck.

always face subs towards where they have the most room to "breath" if you suffocate them by pressing them up against something they wont have any air to push, which essentially is all a sub does
