Installing a turbo timer
some turbo timers use a tach signal to make sure the car is actually still running and that it shut down properly. I guess it wouldn't really be needed, but I know HKS timers use it. Plus if I remember right I belive it also monitors the RPM's so if the engine revvs either by some freak of nature accident or someone tries to take your car w/o putting the ebrake down the very last click the car will shut off
that didn't work. as soon as i hooked up the blue wire to the black/yellow wire, the lights came on again, battery, guages, etc.....
okay...when i ground the black wire and hook up the red wire to a 12v constant, should i be able to turn on and off the turbo timer without the ignition key turned foward? when i have those two wires, the words improved by sard on the turbo timer stay lit up. is that supposed to happen?
i still can't get this TT wired up correctly.

as far as the ones i've put in, you should only be able to turn it on with the key on.... maybe the red is for accessory? put a pic of the instructions up and I'll see what I can find out
cool, send it to rrossman2@hotmail.com, because I think the one listed on this site is full.. stupid junk mail
i altavista translated the page, but didn't find anything about the turbo timer on there... what's it called? I haven't had a chance to let my friend look at it yet though....
