Installing head unit
I have to say this is one of the most retarded threads I have seen. If you have done it before, you should know its not that hard.
Now, to answer the guys question, it's not that hard on a Civic. I've never done an install on a Civic, but it was a breeze on my Sol. Go to www.installdr.com for a how-to guide on the installation and also try a search in this forum for archived posts.
On the newer Civics its not necessarily hard but just contains a lot of work thats all. If you need help on how do it let me know and I will help you out.

step by step-
Remove the piece of plastic that has your cig lighter on it. Its snaps out. be careful
Undo 8mm bolts (2) that are behind the piece of plastic. THese hold the radio in place
Carefully yank the dashpiece containing the HVAC and your radio off the main dash. This can be kind of nerve wracking because they can be tight.
Once its off, unplug the harnesses. Then take it to a workbench
Unscrew the three screws that hold in the HVAC *****, pull the ***** off the front and then unscrew the factory radio. Remove radio/pocket.
Install your aftermarket kit and radio into the dash.
Put everything back together. Its a good idea to keep the metal frame that your factory radio comes bolted to because you can rebolt it in place to steady the dash.
Any more help needed shoot me an IM or email.
