installing front speakers
on this page.... http://www.2k1civic.com/diy/speaker_install.cfm it shows how to install the front speakers in the doors and tweeters above the dash. has anyone ever done this on their own? if so, is it a pain in the ***? i got a 99' civic ex and i want to put some jl xr525cri's in that beezy.
check out www.jdmfan.com they have instructions on how to remove the door panels on a 98-00 civic. I'm not too familiar with the jl's are they comps or coaxials? If they're just coaxials then it's easy to install, don't even need to take off the door panel. If it's comps then you would have to take off the door panels. don't know if the civic EX models already have tweeter pods like the 99-00 civic SI's. If not then you would have to drill some holes to mount the tweeter in the door. Just look at http://www.jdmfan.com, click on instrution manuals and click install tweeters in a 2 door.
hehe tweeter pods
fukqn with the dash is not worth it, just put em the doors - much easier

You have to know how close the crossover point is on your components, because if they're really close like some of the MB Quarts reference series and you put the tweet too far from the mid it'll sound like ****. Trust me I know so many people that do that. What kind of components are they?
