Hey, im installing a Viper 791XV alarm system (on a 94 GSR)... I have successfully mounted all the proper components throughout the car and have begun the soldering the main harness... I have read through the instructions completely but still am i little confused with a couple of things. If you have done this install or believe u can help, or know where online i can find a full install let me know.

Here are my questions:

1) On the main 12pt harness, the ORANGE wire (ground when armed output)... It provides a (-)500 mA ground when system is armed. Supposed to be connected to starter kill switch. How is the connection made?

2) The Black/White wire is for the supervision domelight output, for cars with supervision domelights... Integras dont need this connection because they dont have supervision domelights correct?

3) The green wire coming out of the door switch (the one that controls the domelight when car door is opened) is located where? it runs from the switch to the domelight to the battery... i think...

4) What wires will i not need to connect.. i know i dont need the diesel wire connections obviously.. but what else?


5) Any other tips on the install?

Thanks for any tips or answers </TD></TR></TABLE> For starter cut you will need to install a relay in the starter wire, [black/white] cut the wire and wire one end to 30 on the relay the other to 87a on the relay, the orange gos to 86 and you need a true ign., [ power when cranking] on 85, cap off 87 on the relay.

If you wire it, [black/white] it will give you domelight supervision. You will need a relay.

The green, [lt green/red] door pin switch, found behind drivers kickpanel , runs from the doors pinswitchs to the domelight, [neg. side] the other side of domelight has 12v pos. on it.

There will be a lot of wires you will not need, or a few, depends on what options you are wireing. the diesel gloplug, the violet + door trig, the blue multiplexed input, [unless adding another sensor, the red/white ch2 validity , [unless adding an EXT like window rolldown] and a number of others. hint....... remove all wires not being used.
