What would be the best between the two. The Infinity Reference 6010CS or the Alpine Type-R SPR-17LS.

I can get the Infinity's for about $40 bucks cheaper. Wondering which would sound better. I only know the specs on them, dont know how the Infinity's sound.

Oh, if it helps, they will be hooked up to an Alpine MRV-F345 amp.

All opinions accepted unless you are telling me to get different speakers

well it depends what sound your lookin for....if you like highs (harsh tweeters) go for the type r's...the infinitys sound smoother than the alpines but still have a pretty harsh tweeter on em

 

Ok, sounds like they are overall better than them? I figure if they are smoother they will sound better.

yea they sound better...i personally havent had good experience with alpine speakers...

you could always go listen to them and decide for yourself. everyone has a different preference for sound.

yeah..just go to your local shop or bestbuy/circuit city and listen to them...
