Hey guys I am getting some infinity reference speakers for my rear and some pioneer 3 ways for up front. I am getting both for 120. The model numbers are as follows. Pioneers-TSA1671R and Infinity-6012i. Is this a good deal? Should I opt to get some cheaper speakers in the rear like pioneer. How much would that effect the sound quality? Will I even be able to notice a difference? Right now I have a oem honda head unit and no sub or amp. Just wondering if I should go cheaper in the for the 2 ways in the back. Opinions please.

 

Replacing the speakers will make very little difference in SQ over the stock speakers, spend the $240 on an aftermarket HU and even with the stock speakers, [as long as they are ok] you will be very surprised at what a difference it makes. 94

 

my stock speakers are blown and i plan to buy a headunit before too long just wondering about the quality issue with the rear speakers.

 

i have those infinities and i love the sound, but i duno about the pioneer, i had some pioneers before and they didnt sound very good at all

 

well I installed them took a whole 1/2 an hour but they sound good. I am pleased with the results even with a stock HU. Eventually ill upgrade that. But for now this is a much better than blown stock speakers.
