Identify this JL sub
I found this sub sitting around, but I have no idea what kind it is (besides it being a 10" JL)........Can anyone help identify the model number, ohms, etc.? I am guessing the the first two pictures don't help at all, and all the identifying info is on the sticker in the thrid pic, but I don't know how to decipher it. Anyone? Thanks.
EDIT: I think it is a 10W0, can anyone confirm? Thx

well, of their subs during that era - with that style cone, the W2, W4, and W5s are rare, so chances are, it's not one of those. Possible, but unlikely.
It's not a W6, wrong pole plate.
It's not an IB4, wrong cone.
It's not a W3, wrong sticker/pole plate - w3's were not vented. Also, w3's were DVC iirc.
So now we are down to a W1 or W0
The depth of the sub should answer that question. Measure the mounting depth, then refer to the discontinued section of JL's site to narrow it down. To findout the coil config, you gotta measure it with a dmm.
If I had to make an educated guess - I'd say it's a 10W1-4, which would make it a pretty nice sub.
