I heard about this stuff a while back and couldn't remember the exact name until I read the FAQ at the top of the forum.

Where the crap can you get this at? I've looked at Lowes and Home Depot and don't know where else to look. I read that you can't get it in small amounts, which I'm okay with. I just don't know where to get it at all.

Are you talking about the aluminum backed sound deading stuff that people are picking up from Home Depot/Lowes?

If so, I found Peel and Seal at Lowes. It should be in the roofing section. As for the tar based aluminum backed insulation, or whatever it is, and somebody should be able to help you.

 

Okay cool, yeah, thats what I was looking for. I went and looked this weekend and I couldn't find any. I'll have to check a different Lowes in the area tonight.
