Default Hyperflashing

I got the LED turn signals for my 92 accord and I get hyperflashing due to the low load. Superbrightleds.com wants 5$ each for load resistors. Is there anyway to make these resistors myself? (I mean use multiple resistors to reach the 6ohm 2amp load)
Thanks.

Ok, I did some more research and it looks like a 6ohm 50w resistor will solve the problem. But the closest radio shack has is "8ohm 20w" or "1ohm 10w" can I use a multiple of these to create the 6ohm 50w load?

Or you can get a heavy-duty flasher module.

how would getting a flasher module make it flash slower? wouldn't it just flash faster?
