how to wire speaker
hey i just took out a 4 channel amp to a mono channel amp for my sub and now i need to know how to wire all my reg speakers back up to the head unit without using the amp....my sn is projectcivicsl on aim if u can tell me there...Thanks
on you head unit you should have 8 speaker wire outputs. if they aren't labeled which speaker is which, get a speaker blown or not just something to make sound. now with sound coming out, change the balance and fade one the head unit to see which one it is. As far as getting the wire to your speakers, you may be able to use the stock wiring. If its not there anymore, its a simple process of running new wire to the doors and wherever else. IS that what you were asking???
basically yea i never really looked on the back of my alpine to see if it had outputs like that...well im a dumbass...hey and on my headunit you can turn the subwoofer bass up how do you wire that up?
RTFM!
Read the Alpine manual... it'll tell you how to wire things up and control the sub section.
If you no longer have the manual, you can find it on the Alpine website. Tell me what model it is and I'll help ya find it.

PS speaker output color code is........
LF- white, black tracer is neg.
RF- gray "
LR- green "
RR- violet or purple
If a wire adpt. is being used, just match up the colors, but to get the best sound out of the Alpine, [depending on what model] it is best to run the yellow from the Alpine right to the batt., [and cap off the OEM one, white with yellow or blue tracer]
