Default How to use multimeter?

Picked up a multimeter to test my foglight harness/plugs, but I have no idea how to use it lol.

Here's what it looks like

The foglights are 12V so what do I set it to and where do plug in the test leads?

Didn't you pick up the manual???

The red lead goes in the "V" hole, and the black lead goes in the "COM" hole..

Then, you'll turn the dial to the "20" position on the right side.

Read your manual to discover all of the other wonderful things you can do with your meter.
