Dead remote. Get new one. Use the info on the sticker on the back of the remote.

Ohhhhh... When you said that you dropped the remote I thought you meant that the light on the remote was on... Now that you've clarified....

The alarm is in Valet mode. There's a pushbutton switch somewhere (glovebox, underdash, somewhere) that got pressed. Need to take the alarm out of Valet mode.

But since I've never seen a remote like that, and I can't make out the brand name on the bottom, I can't tell you how to cancel the valet mode..

Maybe fcm knows though... I bet he does...

LOL, not without knowing what alarm it is, but I agree that the alarm is in valet, and because the LED stays on all the time, maybe a Clifford, on most of them it's turn on the ign. push and release "valet button" or turn on ign. and "flick" valet toggle switch, but if you can get the model number off the brain I can link you to an owners manual 94

Valet mode will not keep your car from starting.

The under-dash valet switch is also used for programing, but also for over riding the alarm if you can't disarm it with the remote, so it's still a good idea to find the switch/button and the model of the alarm, you can download the owners guide at http://www.dei.com p4

The only clifford i ever installed that had the same remote was there top of the line $600 alarm remote start pre-DEI. I dont remember the model. From the looks of it I would guess it was purchase from onlyremotes.com as a replacement (per the sticker onthe back of the remote) Pretty much all DEI alarms can be taken in and out of valet mode by opening the drivers door and pressing lock, unlock, lock in a one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand time period.

yea your car is on valet mode which means that alarm wont go off. there should be two buttons. you press one once, and the other one twice with your key in the ignition.
