How to mount an amp on THIS surface?
Yeah, I know. I have the chunk of carpet still. I plan on keeping the car for as long as I can. If I change the amp location, I'll just put the rear floor mat back in and it will be invisible. I don't want to have stereo stuff in the trunk..

Okay, let me hijack my own thread and ask this:
The amp is 50x4, bridgeable, and I'm getting some MB Quart component speakers that can take the power of two or four channels, and can be bi-wired. The question is, if I decide to run all 200w to the front speakers, should I bridge the amp or bi-wire the speakers?
If I bi-wire the crossovers I can use the active crossover on the amp (hi-pass) and set the crossover point much lower, which I think would be good. The crossover point on the passive ones is 4,200hz (eek!).
If I bridge the amp channels it will allow the passive crossovers to distribute power to the tweeter and woofer however Quart sees fit (instead of 50w to each tweeter and each woofer). However, I think I wouldn't be able to use the hi-pass, and I'm afraid the amp will get hotter under there.
Thanks for your opinions,
-Dan
