How many watts does....
I got a Sansui car stereo amplifier(Used), and I can't find how much watts it has. The model No. is SM-A1400F, serial No. 61000437, Made in Korea, 2. 3. or 4. channel High current amplifier with 2 way crossover. The dimensions are 12 inches by 8 1/2 inches. I searched everywhere and I dont have the box or manual
. If someone knows how much watts it has or knows how to find out I'd be a lifesaver
THANKS!!

Sansui has a bunch of vintage gear that I'm aware of, a many home audio offerings. They aren't too mainstream here though...
WELL - Does it have a fuse rating on it? That might give you somewhat of a clue.
Or - you could open it up and look at the output transistors - see about how much they're spec'ed to handle = a better clue.
Or - get the thing bench-tested for real-world numbers.
Judging by the size though, I'd suprised if it were rated for any more than 50x4 at 4 ohms. It may be a little less than that.

u are askign about a radio that wont even matter dude. the ? is does it sound good and look nice if both are yes then u wont have to worry about it. other then that if its about upgrading your system id say first thing to go is that radio
You could take the fuse rating mutiply it by 14.4 then multiply it by .70
this would be an extremely generous gestimate.
most older amplifiers are about 60% efficient max
