They are great for the price. i have a pair in my ej8, and they have stood up well for the ~8 months I've had them.

there are videos on youtube with reviews/speaker in action

amazon/ebay for best deal

Shouldn't you ask this BEFORE you buy?

lol no, its from my job, I can always take it back. Got the $150 pair for $30 so I am definantly not on a buget with the price i get speakers/decks for. I just wanted to ask before I take my rear panels out and install them when that sunny day comes.

yeah, most people don't get kickers because theyre expensive. so they go for cheaper **** like alpine. So most people only know how alpines sound and think its the best. again this is what i heard from an installer. just wanted input from people on honda-tech haha.

I have always used kicker subs and components. They are by carr my favorites. The components are very good in my opinion but the tweeters seem to be a bit too harsh either way they are very well made sound great and really take a beating. The customer service at Stillwater designs is awesome also they are great to deal with. Just remember if you buy theirower end stuff the quality starts to get sacrificed to save money.

+1 for Kicker. In my civic, I have Kicker 6.5's in front, 6x9's in the rear, and 2 kicker competiton 10" subwoofers being pushed with a kenwood amp. I have, hands down, one of the best sounding systems of anyone I know (I like clean, clear, and crisp, lots of rock and metal, not that BURR BURR rattle BURR ****), and according to most people I associate with, only second to my friend's $5,000 system in his 300zx. Just my $0.02 and opinion, but others may think otherwise of Kicker components.

Kicker and quality is not two words I would use together. They were something back in their day but they have gone down hill after making a name for themselves just like Rockford fosgate. I use to love their stuff and now it is just mediocre. Much better stuff out there

Non amplified they will be fine as they do not require that much power. If you are to ever amplify your system I would change them out though. You don't need to go as high end as MB quarts or focals but something midrange in the price of $200-300 a pair.

yeah. my first objective was to get some decent speakers for some better quality sound. but now that i see how cheap i get stuff im thinking about just going all out. haha. a $1000 set up costs me $250. so i might as well

I had some old kickers and they were very nice. The new ones today aren't that good imo, but they do a decent job.
I prefer some JL audios. I have a Pioneer system right now and it sounds very crisp with nice lows, mids and highs . Ballin on a budget. I get all of my products at crutchfeild.com sometimes they have really good deals XD
