Default How To Install 2nd Amp???

What do I need to install a 2nd amp??....
Right now I have a amp with a 8ga. power wire from the battery....
Can I just run another 8ga. wire to the battery??
....(Both the amps I have use 8ga power wire)
And.....
Do I need a capacitor if im running two amps?...(Pyramid 1600watt and Soild Aduio 400watt....RMS 1600=400 400=200)

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP

No you dont need another wire to the batt, those amps dont pull much power. Just get a distribution block. So one 8gauge in and 2 - 8gauge out.

Yea but I dont think those ams are powerful so he should be straight with a 8 gauge. I have a kicker xs100 and rms I think around 1500 watts and 2 kicker zr120's. I use 4 gauge wire without any problems and Im running 2000 watts of real power. So I would think his 8 gauge is more than enough.

your running a 1000 rms and kicker actually suggests 2 gauge for your amp...

you should run 4 gauge for 2 amps dont be cheap wire isnt expensive but using cheap wire to begin with can prove to be costly in the long run
