How do you remove the old headunit from a 94 Ls Integra?
Hello all,
I'd like to know where the bolt is to remove the old Headunit in a 94 ls integra. Can someone point me to a website or tell me where I should look?
Thanks!

If you need pictures, buy the Haynes book for your car. If you don't need pictures, use these instructions:
1) Using a panel tool pry outward on the cap under the emergency brake and remove. Remove the (2) screws in that area.
2) Remove (1) screw from each rear corner of the lower console and remove.
3) Remove the ashtray and the (2) screws from the rear of that area.
4) Unsnap the housing and unplug the connectors and remove the housing. Remove the shifter and unsnap the trim piece.
5) Remove (1) screw from each rear corner of the upper console and (2) screws from below the radio opening.
6) Remove the console bezel.
7) Remove (2) 8mm screws holding the stereo in place.
8) Disconnect all wiring and remove stereo.
In case you're wondering, this is where I got that info http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereor...raIntegra2.htm.

Here's a quicker way to do it that doesn't invole removing your entire center console.
1) Remove the ashtray and the 2 philips screws securing the assembly to the dash.
2) Unplug the connectors and remove the assembly.
3) Remove the 2 8mm bolts underneath the radio assembly securing it to the dash.
4) Unplug the connectors and remove the radio.
Bear in mind the bolts in step 3 may be hard to reach without a right-angle drill adaptor but that should still be easier than spending the extra 20 minutes taking your whole console out.
