Default how do i switch alarm from passive to active?

I have a viper alarm on my civic and when i bought the car, it had the alarm currently set to passive so it locks every 30 seconds that the key is out. I dont live in a bad area and its really annoying so was wondering if anyone knew how to reprogram this. Viper of course doesnt tell u on their web site anything about installation or programming because they only want their list of "certified installers" doing it.

Thanks

figure out the model and look up the owner's manual here (select viper). otherwise, go to a alarm shop. http://directed.com/Support/Pr....aspx

Need a model number, with it I can get you the install and owners guides.

Switching from passive to active arming is done in programming and is found in the install guide. 94
