Default Hornet Alarm Issues

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and hoping I can get some advice from you wonderful people. I have a Hornet alarm which came installed on my DC5, and had worked fine up until the car battery was replaced recently. Since then, I can't activate the alarm at all. I'm guessing the fob/alarm may need to be reprogrammed? In addition to this, the fob which locks/unlocks the car has also stopped working.

I've tried changing both batteries in the fobs. I've also tried to locate the valet switch, to no avail.

If anyone can offer any advice or suggestions on how I might go about fixing this, it would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Sarah

Hornet is a part of the DEI family of products. From previous experience with their stuff, (DEI), they often use a standard wiring harness for their alarms. If not, you can still re-wire it to work for the new brain/control module.
