home depot insulation
i just bought some weatherwatch, or whatever it's called. has anyone else tried this offbrand method? it's going to the trunk of my sedan, and eventually the doors. this stuff's heavy, but i'm not sure of how thick it is. can anyone give me a link on how to stick this stuff on i.e. do i need a heat gun, overlap small pieces, etc.? i can't wait to get rid of that annoying rattle.

heat gun is used to help make dynomat material fit into the grooves and stick better. Make sure you clean the metal before you put that stuff on. Nothing wrong with overlaping, but I have never used what you are useing.

don't worry, neither will i. i got the wrong kind. i returned it, and forgot to get a heat gun while i was there. back to square one. i'm thinkin' dynamat kit for the trunk, and offbrand for ceiling/doors.
