Default Help need to get this stuff off

Its the glue that holds the plastic up behind the door panel. I have tried some stuff but it doesn't work. Any tips to get this stuff off. It looks like crap.

You should be able to tell what I'm talking about by this picture.

Get a razor blade, try scraping a small piece of and then pulling it off. Mine came off rather easily when I had to fix my driver's side window.

heat it up with a hair dryer then peel as much off as you can, then use some 'goo gone'

You guys must use different goo gone than me because as soon as that stuff gets rubbed on to any painted surface, off comes the paint. I used it to clean up some sticky stuff in the back of my car and as soon as i rubbed the rag it ate through all the layers of paint. So I just used soap and water and it was fine.

Have you tried 3m adhesive remover??

I used it to take off the residue left by my civic and ex emblems, no problem, also, a heat gun would probably help.
